In CitiDirect, there is a safety feature that automatically closes your CitiDirect session if there is no activity after 4 minutes. This will help to prevent unauthorized access to your accounts should you be called away from your computer.

After 4 minutes of inactivity, CitiDirect will display a message asking if you would like to extend your connection to CitiDirect. If you respond within one minute, your connection will be extended. If not, your connection to CitiDirect will be automatically terminated.
